Virtual Town Hall on the Nudification Tech Ban

Join Senator Erin Maye Quade (SD56) and Representative Jess Hanson (HD55A) for a virtual town hall to learn more about their work to pass Minnesota’s nation-leading ban on AI nudification technology that went into effect on August 1, 2026 and the legal challenge filed by Elon Musk’s company, X.AI, seeking to overturn this law. The district court judge denied the request for a temporary restraining order prior to the law going into effect, and the court will hear motions on an emergency preliminary injunction on Wednesday, August 19.
